Is United Legal back again?

In this United Legal again but just under a different name? I thought they were finally gone. I have not had any calls for about a year.
Do I even need to call the guy back? I have not had an online payday loan since 2004 and thought I had gotten rid of these guys but apparently not.

Do you mean United Cash Loans, is that the name of the original lender?
The point is, for someone to call you after a year has passed and claim it is a matter of fraud sounds like a scare tactic that Internet payday lenders use, quite often as a matter of fact.
In order for me to know for certain your payday lenders aren't licensed I would need more info.
Your state
Name of lenders
How much borrowed
How much paid back.
Internet or store front.

Is United Legal back again?
Hi Shazzers. Frankly, it has been so long ago, I am not sure I remember all the amounts and the names of the lenders but here is what I think they are (last one was in 2005). Most were in 2003 and 2004. I live in the state of Missouri.
Preferred Cash - Loan amount $300.00. I know I made at least 4 payments of $90 in extension fees and then called them to work out payment arrangements. This is right when I got ill with breast cancer so, frankly, not sure how many more payments I made. They quit charging me extension fees and I mailed in money orders for the balance. As I said, I am thinking once I got ill, I may not have paid the whole balance but I know I paid well over the $390 total of the loan prior to that.
MTE - $300.00. I do not remember exact amount. I know I paid them for a long, long time. Because of my illness and the fact I had paid extensions for so long, the owner settled with me for $30 less than the balance remaining. I was hassled on this by collectors for several years. Even though I have read bad things about MTE on here, they were nice in trying to help me get this straight with the collectors that I no longer owed anything... at least they said they were helping. Based on what I have read about them on here, maybe they were not.
AP Processing - $300.00 Again, I do not remember exact amount of how much I paid. I know I did call them when I first started getting hassled by United Legal and they told me I was shown as paid in their system.
LoanByPhone - Loan amount was $200.00. I made at least four payments of $60 in extension fees. I mailed in payments to them as well when I got ill and they quit charging me extensions. However, I did talk to them about a year ago when I was being hassled by United Legal and they told me their system showed me loan as being $120 written off in 2005.
If you need exact amounts, I can request copies of my bank statements from back then. It has been so long ago, I do not remember by memory. Does this help any as far as determining if they were legal or not? I do know I paid all of these people for a number of months before I just could not do it anymore. When I first started getting calls from United Legal, I called all of t hese people (except Loanby phone because I thought it was paid) and they assured me I was fine with them and the calls were not being initiated by them.
Should I ignore this person from Byron Keith law firm then? Thanks so much for your help.
yes you should.any call that starts with them stating investigat
yes you should.any call that starts with them stating investigators,or fraud is not legit.i doubt they are a law firm at all.
They can't touch you if they don't own or authorized to process
They can't touch you if they don't own or authorized to process the loan. It's simple.
