I took out a loan from Payday Loan Services (PLS) last year to help pay rent and I was later laid off from my job and I am now collecting unemployment The attorney that is handling the case recently placed a levy on my bank account which was already in the negative. Thank God I stopped my unemployment checks from going to my bank account awhile ago. I spoke with the attorney on the phone and he was very rude, he ask me did I have his money and I had to tell him a couple of times that I have been unemployed for a year, he kept insisting that I was going to pay him that day finally I guess it clicked in his head he wasnt getting any money, so I ask him when will the remove the levy on my account he said once he receives notication from the bank and on the court date. The attorney has even went as far as doing a personal service to my former employer after he received the letter from the bank stating that the only income that was coming in was from IDES which is Illinois Department of Employment Security, which I have a copy of. What else can he do since I have no assets and I closed the account.
