Three Loans, Deposit Only - What now? Please help
Date: Fri, 12/03/2010 - 08:23
Here is where I stand
I took out three pay day loans.
Redstone - $500 (paid 540)
Sandpoint - $250 (Paid 375)
Pack Mgmt/B&L- $200 (Paid 375)
The paid amounts are how much they have withdrawn from my accounts.
I have successfully put my account on deposit only. I know I now need to send the C&D letters which I am currently browsing for, however one tried to go through today and I immediatly got a call with him threatening me with jail etc. I asked for an address to send a money order to and he said he would only accept a debit card.
What more do I need to do after I send the C&D Letters?
I believe from reading that Redstone and Sandpoint are not legal companies, is Pack Management?
I am in florida.
Thanks again.

You need to file complaints with the AG, FTC and BBB in your state against the illegal lenders. Send them all copies of the complaints filed via email, fax or mail. Demand a refund for the amounts paid over and above the principle amount of the loan and a paid in full letter. Keep all correspondence with these people in writing, do not engage them over the phone. You need a good paper trail. Once your illegal lenders have been contacted by the AG you should start receiving refunds in the mail. I did. As far as Pack Management, I'm not familiar with them so search this forum to see if that name comes up. Be sure that you also revoke any wage assignments as well.

No, Pack Management isn't licensed to lend in FL. I do hope you have closed your account, which should have been done BEFORE you sent out any letters.
