Like so many others my husband and I have made stupid financial choices. He is unemployed, I am working but can barely cover bills. I need to stop the payday loan cycles. How do I do it?

Without much information it’s difficult to say anything. What state do you live in? What are the names of the pdl companies? How much did you borrow from your lenders? Are your lenders licensed in your state?

I am so glad you have posted as you are making the first step towards getting out of PDL hell. We definately do need more information to give you the best advice. Please respond with the following info: your state and all PDL's, whether they are storefront or on-line, the amount of your loans and what you have actually paid into them, counting your roll-overs.
What you will probably have to do is close your bank account and get a new one, and send each PDL a cease and desist letter saying you are revoking all ACH authorizations. Good luck and keep us updated!
