The very first thing you need to do is secure your bank account.
The very first thing you need to do is secure your bank account. The only way to secure your account is to close it and open a new one. Go to your bank/credit union and talk directly to a manager. Explain the situation to them and they will help you secure your account. What are the names of the payday lenders? If a payday lender is not licensed to do business in your state, then you are only morally obligated to pay back the principal balance (no interest/fees). Please respond with the payday lenders names, the original amount of your loan and how much you have paid back to date and someone will be able to help you.

I wasnt logged in befoere-- Thank you, I have researched the threads and know that only one of them is legal here. However I have paid much more than should.
Today I called chase bank ( my bank) and asked to speak to the the ACH department and was told that they don't take inbound calls and I asked for a supervisor after explaining the situation to front line customer service/ teller and was again told by the super that they can not do that. I mentioned a hard debit block for the illegal PDL companies and explained that I have sent in all the documents that show I have I revoked any and all ACH permissions to these companies. I was told to wait till they take the money and its not longer in a pending status then I can file a fraud claim....
200 cash.com = i never received a loan from them not sure how much they will deposit or maybe just keep debiting? They debited my account last night 19$ - wonder what else they are going to do with my pay check that goes in tonight?
Dollar Flash= deposited 300 - however I have nothing showing where I requested nor signed...
Kingston Fin. 200.00 loan - paid back 89.00 x6 = 534.00
Manhattan Proces 300.00 loan- paid back 90.00 x 4= 360.00
CashNetUSA PAYDAYADV loan 500.00 = Valid loan still paying
thanks

You really should go into the bank and speak to the branch manager, they are usually the only ones who are authorized to freeze your account. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

No no, don't wait until they take the money out of your account, please read the thread I posted above on how to deal with illegal lenders. Please understand that it is imperative that you speak directly with the branch manager, no one else will do. Read the illegal lenders thread, follow it step by step, don't skip any steps. Most importantly, do not contact your lenders until your account is secured, otherwise they will go into your account and wipe it out, especially if they know you are suspicious about their legality.
Thanks, Over the weekend another $160.00 came out of my account.
Thanks, Over the weekend another $160.00 came out of my account. Now it appears that several checks from companies that I have never heard of have my checking information and are making debits on my account - they look like a check but I never wrote them nor signed them. It shows (signature on file) electronic check.
I called Sat night and they said that they had place a freeze on my account so no others could come through and opened a fraud claim.
I have called the bank this morning and made an apt for later today. They said we can change my account # or there are other options. I have sent the letter that revoke any and all ACH authorizations and sent them to the companies, however new ones are coming in. This is a huge mess- I'm in Pay day loan hell.
I have read through the links you provided and wonder if you can tell me where to find out more info on Texas payday loan laws, or what I need to know about these loans here in TX to avoid more trouble please.

Follow the advise on this site. If you haven't already done so,
Follow the advise on this site. If you haven't already done so, close your bank account. Next file a complaint with the AG, FTC and BBB in your state against the illegal lenders and send them a copy via email, fax or mail. Demand a paid in full letter and refund for the amount paid over and above the principle loan. Withdraw any wage assignments if you haven't already done so. But first and foremost close your bank account! When you apply for internet PDL's your information is provided to bottom feeders throughout the internet PDL world. Once your bank account is closed you will be relieved. You can always pay Cashnet with a prepaid card, and don't give them your new banking information.

Great links- thank you very much. I wanted to share this with everyone out there. I was pleased when my bank said they would be refunding the money from the electronic checks from companies I had never done business with - however I was humiliated in the process.
When I went in to close my account at Chase. The banker called another department b/c electronic checks (that I did not sign up for) had hit the account and the banker was going to have them refunded Well the check fraud department did reverse the charges however asked him to put me on the line. I know what I did was not the smartest thing that I have ever done-giving my banking information to an internet payday loan company - However the Rep in the check fraud dept was out of line as she scolded and reprimanded me for over 10 minutes while the banker attempted to look away and appear busy as tears ran down my cheeks, it took all I had to sit there and finish the process of closing out the account. She told me that I did sign up for these services whenever you go on a PDL site it automatically signs you up in all kind of services. and she said it was NOT Fraud b/c the state of Texas allows it. She said I should have known what Pay Day Companies do this to consumers! She stated that this is NOT fraud and for me not to peruse this as I had stated I would file complaints with the proper authorities b/c I had never requested their services nor did I give them permission to debit my account. Horrible experience half way over- many thanks for your site! Please keep up the great work you all do here. I am very thankful to all of you!
