Hi..
I have 4 loans outstanding currently..They are DJR Financial, Ameriloan, One click cash, and Electronic Payment Processing. I have closed my checking account because I can no longer afford to pay them, so when the fees try to pull this Friday they are not going to be happy. I recently refinanced my vehicle and have enough money to pay them off completely, but when I called to get the payoff from DJR they said that this lender does not take mail in, wire payments, etc..It has to come from a checking account. Personally I think that is a bunch of bologna, and they don't sound very honest to me.

Is there a way to tell who is legal and who is not? I do not want a huge amount of calls when the payments are rejected on Friday. The total amount of the loans will be paid by my credit union but not for another few days. Sometimes I cannot believe I got myself into this mess..Thank you for any guidance...Amy

First, you did the right thing by closing your bank account. Something does not sound right about DJR Financial only accepting payments from a checking account. Is DJR Financial the company that is holding your car title? Would DJR Financial accept MasterCard or VISA? If so, you can go to WalMart and get a prepaid Money card with the VISA logo on it. They only cost $3.00.

Ameriloan is not licensed to do business in Floriday. Therefore, you only owe them the principal balance (no interest or fees). I am not sure about One Click Cash and Electronic Payment Processing. Someone should be along shortly on this forum to help you further with those.

Okay, I went today and received my refi for my car so I am ready to pay these payday people off. My credit union needs the physical addresses of these people, but some of them do not want to let me know..Any suggestions? Thanks again!
What exactly do you mean by "paying them off", the companies I named above ARE NOT LEGAL. You need to understand something, if they aren't legal you do not owe them anymore than the principal amount you borrowed! Paying them anymore then that will not get them off your back! They will continue to insist on more and MORE money. They won't give you their addresses because they aren't located in the U.S.!

DO NOT give them your new account information, or even the name of the credit union you are now a member of, if you do, you will get back into the same situation you just got out of! Once they learn where your new account is located, they will begin taking money out of your new account until you are wiped out!! If you intend to pay them (and you should only pay them what you owe, less any payments already made and less any interest or fees) pay them with a money order via the mail so they won't have access to your new account! If they refuse to give you their address then it's their loss, tell them no address means NO PAYMENTS.

The credit union sent the checks off to pay the accounts off and now two of them have been returned..One says that "this check cannot be accepted because my account has been sent to an outside collection company". Whatever that means.. Also my credit union said that they received another check back stamped that the "business was not at this address and no forwarding info available". The first account was DJR Group/OSL Marketing, and the second was Ameriloan. What do I do now? I know it is because these people are not even in the United States right?
