I really hope someone can help me on this one!! I had a few pdl & I sent out the letters because they were not legal here in Illinois

Cash Line
American Web Loan
My Next Day Cash

So Cash Line left me a voicemail (a representative said she was going to send me an email as well, I would have waited but I was too nervous) and she said "Yes, we know we are not licenced in Illinois, but there is a clause in the contract that you signed and you agreed to abide by the laws of Deleware, where we are kinda licenced".... Ok, so first is Cash Line legal in Deleware ? And is that true, if they are licenced & I signed off on this clause do I legaly have to abide by that ? I took out a 600 loan in November & I have paid a total of 550. I wrote in my email that I would pay the 143.00 still left on the loan. PLEASE HELP !!!
Thanks a bunch in advance !!

This is just choice of law BS and it holds no legal validity whatsoever. You are only subject to federal laws and the laws of your state of residence, not Delaware, not even if the PDL was licensed there. Hopefully you have already revoked ACH in writing. Just return the call and say that you will send the remaining $143 by money order when you see fit and if they want more, they can go print some because they will not get another buck out of you.
