I received a call from someone saying they are calling on behalf of quick cash net and it's charges filed against me and I owe 490.00 and if I don't pay it within a hr then monday they would send the police to my door!!! I never even took out a loan with quick cash net!!! So I told give me to Monday and I would call them in the morning to work something out..... Is this a scam

Depending on where you live they cannot arrest you for this. Additionally they need a court order and if you have never taken out a loan you don;t owe a debt. According to the FDCPA you should request a debt validation letter by US MAIL. They most likely a scam.

you can't be arrested for owing a dbt.especially a pdl.it is a scam.first file a police report using whatever number you have for them.then when they call monday demand something in writing and state you will not even acknowledge them until you receive it.these scams try to extort money but using scare tactics like arrest.the truth the idiot broke the law themselves by threarening arrest.file the police report.demand something in writing then ignore them as anything they threaten will be illegal and things they can't do.
