PDL Help in Pa
Date: Mon, 11/29/2010 - 12:24
I stumbled upon this forum searching for PDl Loan....
I reside in Pa and have 3 PDls out as of current...
tlcfastcash.com $358.00 on $200 loan
ameriloan.com $455.00 on $350 loan
mycashnow.com $485.12 on $400 loan
I only paid the TLC fast cast so far of $79 but they tacked on another $79 interest fee!!!
The other 2 are coming up in 2 weeks and i don`t know what to do....
I know it`s going to be a burden as trying to pay these off within the specific time as the holidays are near... But are these companies legit? Can they sue me if i don`t pay or close my account ASAP?
I want to close my account ASAp and my bank will work with me, but what are the circumstannces of closing my account and emailing/writing them now about my financial situation....
AANY ASAP HELP IS APPRECIATED...
Thanks

All the PDL lenders are illegal in your state. Do not pay them anything more than the actual amount borrowed. You must close your bank account ASAP in order to protect your hard-earned money from being looted. Contact your bank manager as he is the person who will assist you in this. Check out the following link to know about how to deal with these illegal lenders: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/illegal-pdl-dealings.html.

So if i close my account, should i email them and let them know that I am only paying the amount borrowed back to them and not their high ass interest fees?
Confused and worried at the same time...

Regarding your question #2, the answer is yes, state in your letter that you will pay them the principal amount borrowed on the loan since you are morally responsible for it. Also remember to revoke any/all wage assignments and give a copy of that letter to your payroll department.
As for your 3rd question, all type of online PDL lending are prohibited in your state.

Ameriloan will definitely call your work and the others might also. You need to tell someone that you gave your work number out as a reference and it turned out to be a scam. Also if you signed any wage assignments you need to revoke them and tell you HR dept. It is tough but there is no alternative.
