These people are a riot... they transfer me around to four different people requesting a 672 dollar payment and I keep telling them their loan is not enforceable outside of the tribal reservation it originated. I'm not sure what a permissible letter is but one of them keeps saying they'll send me that. I interjected by asking for a validation of debt which they don't answer and do nothing about. At this point I am going to simply call the credit bureaus and file dispute and have this taken off my file. I asked if I can work out of a settlement of the principal balance to no avail, so now I'm lost. Will the credit bureaus get them off my report?? Note this loan WAS opened through Western Sky.

Im in the same boat. Im preparing to send in a validation of debt request but all the templates im reading seem to be made to go to a collections agency??? what if they send me back the documents i signed?? will that make me liable to pay it?

They are not licensed to lend in NY. Wait for someone else to come back with specifics as to your next step; I don't know what a ppermissible letter is so maybe soaplady will.

Another update: they called me back and told me they mailed out

Another update: they called me back and told me they mailed out "information". I asked if it was a validation of my debt and the lady told me "it is pertinent information" then hung up. So I guess I will see what this information is. I am confused at this point though should I mail them a cease and decist letter now or later?? And what is a permissible letter??
