Is Western Sky considered a payday loan. They are not licensed in the state of Alabama but they transferred my loan to Cash Call with they own and Cash Call is licensed in Alabama.

As others have stated on this forum, Western Sky is an illegal tribal lender. Even if CashCall is legal in your state, if the loan originated with Western Sky, they are trying to service an illegal loan.

CashCall is probably licensed in your state as a mortgage compan
CashCall is probably licensed in your state as a mortgage company, but not a consumer loan company.
More than likely, CashCall doesn't own the loan, but rather just SERVICING the loan.
Contact them and find out who actually owns it. It is either still owned by Western Sky, or WS Funding - neither of which are licensed in your state. If it is WS Funding, ask them for contact information.
