I made the decision yesterday to take back control of my paycheck/financial future. I have 5 PDLs, each being either a tribal or oversees company. Yesterday morning I started emailing each of these companies, explaining that their company was not licensed in Oklahoma, and therefore my loan with them was not valid, and that I was revoking my ACH and wage garnishment, and that I would like a refund in the amount that I had overpaid beyond the principle.
As of 4pm today, I have received communication from 3 of these companies. Each of them explained that while they are tribal entities governed by their sovereign status, they are willing to consider my account to be Paid In Full. Of course there was no mention of a refund, but I am ecstatic for this progress. I am so glad that I found these forums and all of the great advice that they have in them Thank you again!!
