Tribal Loans Illegal

Great Plains Lending, Spotloan, and 123cashdepot. I live in Kentucky, the Department of Finance told me that these loans are illegal and aren't licensed in my state. I was unable to make any payments to either of them, I get 20 calls a day from them and now they are threating with lawyers. If they are indeed illegal and not licensed, than should I worry or should I consult an attorney???

All the lenders are illegal.

All the lenders are illegal. You don’t need to worry, they can’t do anything. They are just trying to scare you. File a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC. Close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account.

are they legal in California? i have given them $630.00 to date on a $300.00 loan. please help.

Freedom Cash Lenders

loan was back in MAY- have paid $630.00 to date on a $300.00 loan. sent them my sample letter i received here (and revoked the ACH).. They state they are tribal and immuned to CA state laws.. and that they will offer to resolve my loan by paying another $300.00 (broken into two or three payments) and then it will be closed. Is this true? please help.

exactly right

you paid 630.00 on a 300.00 loan.they owe you and all they can/will do is call and lie.they are illegal and know it.either grow a spine,or as soaplady advised stay off the phone,and do not give any messages credence.
