Hey Experts!!
I am sorry to start a new thread, but I haven't heard back from you guys and I have some more questions and news to share! First of all THANK THANK THANK you for empowering to do something I was suppose to do a LONG time ago. I have followed some of your steps and this is what has happened so far.
I emailed two of my PDL loans yesterday and my bank and this is what I have.
The first one replied to my ticket and said that the loan was not processed in Tx and that I knew that as per my loan agreement. However, they stated that
"As a goodwill gesture we will be closing the loan, however, no refund is due nor will any be considered" and on the loan status it stated that the loan was SUSPENDED. Although I didnt get a refund I am just glad they "closed the loan" Should I be worried????
The second PDL loan hasn't replied to my email at all. When typically, we would email back and forth all the time when I made payment arrangements. When I tried logging in again to the account it said that the account was invalid. Just yesterday, I was able to log in. What do you think this means????
I received a response by my bank stating that I could place a stop payment for six months however, in a separate email they replied to my ACH revokation request and said that they would start an investigation and are sending me a dispute form.
I fee like I am making progress, but I do have several questions. Can someone please respond???
1) Will I be getting harassing calls at work? I work in a small strict environment and I can't afford that.
2) Will they really go after my wages and contact my employer? I am embarrassed to reach out to my HR and tell them about possible wage garnishments. I do not want to get in trouble!
What happens now? Please advise!! Again, thanks to you I have something new to look forward to. :sun:

1) You may
2) They can't if you revoked wage assignment. And yes they may contact your employer.
Inform your employer you are being targeted by a scam.
