I have questions. I took out a payday loan in 2008, they are now tring to collect the money. In 2008 the loan amount was 200 and now they want me to pay over 700. I don't understand that, plus I want to pay my debit but they won't work with me.. They get angry and tell me they are going to send a process server and the sheriff dept to serve me to take me to jail.. But I want to pay my debit. Can someone pleas give me advice? I don't know what to do?

Looks like the handywork of illegal lenders and bottomfeeding collectors. Can you tell us who you borrowed from exactly? It would help us find out if the loan is legal or not.

And as mentioned, don't worry about the cops showing up. Thats not how things roll these days :)
