I live in Florida. This past March I borrowed $300.00 from United Cash Loans. It was to be repaid in two weeks and the finance charge was to be $90.00. Two weeks later my account was debited for $90.00; and, yet another two weeks later it was debited for another $90.00. I contacted United Cash Loans and told them that I no longer needed the money and would like them to remove the principal of $300.00 from my account. They said that I would need to complete an authorization form which they emailed to me two weeks and yet another $90.00 later. I completed the form and emailed it back. Result, two weeks later another $90.00 was taken from my account. I contacted my bank, closed my account, and opened another one. Costly and time consuming. Two weeks later United Cash Loans went to steal yet another $90.00, discovered the account was closed and immediately called me on my cell, at home, and at work. I was in a meeting and called them back in one hour. During that hour, however, United Cash Loan called one of the references I had given them and threatened him if he did not contact me and make me pay them more money. This particular reference had agreed to hire me for a six month, $52,000 consulting job in Fort Lauderdale. After the call from United Cash Loan, he rescinded that offer. When I spoke with United Cash Loan, they told me that I now owed them over $500.00. When I asked them why they did not take the principal out of my account as I had requested and close the loan, their response was "because I had filled the form out incorrectly". I told them that as far as I was concerned, the debt was settled; and, if anything, they owed me money for damages. Now, this week, they have begun calling my reference and his wife in Fort Myers claiming that they owe United Cash Loan over $1,300.00 because of my debt and threatening to ruin their credit. My reference's wife is beside herself. Question: How do I deal with United Cash Loan. They are obviously immoral and without conscience.

if you have proof of all of the above.SUE THERE ARSES.they had no right to do what they have done.if not get proof.you are right, this is a criminal pdl,and should be treated as such.i normally don't advise what i just did,but that is so out of line.them actually costing you money.

good but to get these morons off your references backs send a C&D letter.word it as not to contact except for the USPS.highlight do not call references.also do not let on that your looking into a lawsuite.tell your references that these nuggets are illegal and to just hang up on them.they can't and won't do any of what they say.they are illegal in the extreme.i would still pursue legal action because they cost you money with there actions.
