Hi, new to this forum. Some real eye-opening things here.

Figured I'd share what I just sent off to UnitedCashLoans, as an ACH stop and formal request for a refund. Here's hoping!

To Whom It May Concern:

It has come to my attention that loan providers such as United Cash Loans are illegal in my state of residence, New York State. Furthermore, as an entity not licensed by the Banking Department of New York State to transact business in the State of New York, United Cash Loans (aka UnitedCashLoans) is prohibited from doing business or entering contracts with residents of the State of New York. As such, UnitedCashLoans is operating in direct violation of §190.40 of the New York State Penal Code, and therefore any contract entered into United Cash Loans (aka UnitedCashLoans) by a resident of the State of New York, while residing IN the State of New York, is automatically void as it violates public policy of the State of New York.

As such, I am formally revoking any prior authorizations I may have made for ACH withdrawals from my bank account listed in your records. I am also revoking any voluntary wage assignments I may or may not have made. My bank, and my employer, are now put on notice not to respect any transaction requests made by United Cash Loans (aka UnitedCashLoans), or any other entities operating on behalf of United Cash Loans (aka UnitedCashLoans).

As your records will no doubt indicate, my original loan was in the amount of $300.00. As the transaction history shown below details, I have clearly and without any doubt whatsoever satisfied my obligation for the $300 loan I illegally received. As an entity operating illegally with regards to residents of New York State, you have no obligation or legal means to collect any further funds from me. I hereby make formal demand for reimbursement of $530.00, the amount paid over and above the original $300 principal.

WITHDRAWAL DATE AMOUNT
12/20/2012 90.00
1/3/2013 90.00
1/17/2013 90.00
1/31/2013 90.00
2/14/2013 90.00
2/14/2013 50.00
2/28/2013 75.00
2/28/2013 50.00
3/14/2013 60.00
3/14/2013 50.00
3/28/2013 45.00
3/28/2013 50.00
TOTAL $830.00

If I do not receive a check in the amount of $530.00 within 14 business days of the date of this email (April 2, 2013), I will not hesitate to file formal complaints for action with the Attorney General of the State of New York, the New York State Banking Department, and the Federal Trade Commission.

Your status as a tribal entity does not apply with regards to commercial activities for non-tribal members outside of your tribal area, and therefore, New York State case law is clear in that your activities are illegal in the State of New York, with regards to residents of the State of New York.

Please reply to this email with the date I shall expect to receive your payment.

looks good, but give a copy of an ACH REVOCATION letter to your bank manager before sending it.that's very important as this and other MNE d/b/a's might not honor the rvocation, and if your bank isn't given a copy it will still be debited.do that and then send that letter, and keep us posted please.
