United Cash Loans refused to give a physical address

You will need to contact the creditor and send them a cease and desist letter. There are several cease and desist templates in the DIY section. Just change it a bit to say something like
"Arizona requires that all payday lenders are required to be licensed in my state. I have checked Arizona's list of licensed payday lenders and/or CSOs and have discovered that you are not licensed to lend in Arizona. Therefore, (cite statute here) I am only obligated to repay the remaining principal, as per Arizona law. Enclosed is a check (or money order would be safer) for the remainder of the principal I owe."

Thank you but apparently United Cash Loans does their own collections and they refused to give their physical address. They did give me a fax. I'll send the letter via fax but I still don't know how to get them their $30.

I wouldn't worry about sending them the letter through the mail, sending it through the email is just as effective, especially when it comes to illegal lenders. I wouldn't fax them a letter from your employer's fax machine, they have been known to fax nasty letters to employers.

By the way, I would tell them, no address means no payments, it's their problem not yours.

The complaint from the BBB in OK where they now reside had their address on it.

The Oklahoma address is a P.O. Box in a cigarette store on the Miami Tribe's Indian Reservation. The real address is 10895 Lowell Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66210-1767.

Just curious, does anyone anywhere have a "real" telephone number for United Cash Loans, not an 800 number? I can't recall ever seeing one.
