Old payday loans

I thought all of my payday loans had been paid. However, I pulled a copy of my credit report last week and two old payday loans from 2004 are showing. They are from Preferred Cash and United Cash. It says they were placed with Central Recovery Systems. Could United Legal actually be calling on behalf of Central Recovery? I have not been contacted by Central Recovery ever.
When I did talk with United Legal when they first started calling (about a year ago), they said the loan was from 2006. They said it was with Sonic Payday and I never had a loan with Sonic Payday. They they tried to say it was with Quick Cash. I never had a loan with Quick CAsh. When they first started calling, I went through and confirmed everything from 2006 was paid. Actually, I thought these two from 2004 had been paid as wel but they are showing up as not paid on my credit report.
What do I do? Do I call Central Recovery or will that open a can of worms? Are Preferred and United even legal? I paid on both of them for a long time so am sure I paid the full amount what with extension fees and all.
Help! Do I try to call Central Recovery? Do I continue to ignore United Legal? What do I do? Sorry but I am panicking all over again. Thanks.

If I were you, I would dispute these on your credit report on the grounds the original creditor was NOT licensed lenders. I would also mention that you want PROOF the original lenders were licensed to lend to your state residents, add a copy of your payday loan laws with that dispute. What state are you in, by the way.

Defiantly dispute those items on your credit report with the credit bureau, I did and they were removed.
