In 11/2008 I took out a $300 loan from Goodtime Cash. I was to pay $90 every 2 weeks, payoff the loan, and be done with it. I am in Texas. I paid the $90 and then they started taking a separate deduction of $10 as well. I was told that was from my bank..did not agree and called. Finally got ahold of them and they said they would call me back. By 1/9/2009 I had paid $290. They called me and offered me a one time deal..pay the next $90 and an additional $105 and my loan would be paid in full. I agreed and they debited my account 2 different amts. $90 and $105. 2 weeks later I received a call stating that they had new management and would not honor that agreement..wanted me to pay another $285. I said no that I had paid everything. Today I received a call from a process server and from United litagation saying I was being served for this debt. After much running around, and them constantly changing their story, I have been told that the payments I made counted as interest not balance, that my total was supposed to be over $1800 (on a $300 loan), and that I could only receive info if I agreed to make payment arrangements. Otherwise they will be serving me, taking me to court for fraud (bad check and something else). I was also told that Goodtime was not licensed so Pdl took them over and that is who I owe money to. I again said I have my bank statements, and do not owe. I have no info for the company, no loan info, no documentation at all..so I do not know who to contact, or what to do. They called my family, and friends already today. What do I need to do? Thanks..

first good time cash is not legal in TX next since this united litigation is a scam with no real info.no attorney is gonna do anything but tell you it's a scam.file a police report as the threats were illegal.then use any number you have to file AG complaints.just know a couple of things.

1)a collector,or law firm has to post a 10,000.00 bond to legaly collect in TX.
2)TX is non-garnishment meaning even with a judgement they can't garnish.

so just file the police report, and AG complaint.then ignore this cretin as he can do nothing he threatens.
