I live in Iowa and received a call from United States Mediation, stating that I took a loan out from a company called Loan.com. I received a letter in September from Wooten, Benson and Tate on it. I never have heard of any of these companies, they state they are going to charge with check fraud and file a civil suit also. I looked the number up online and people state that they have worked out payments with these people, one even stated that they put a judgement on them. I requested a letter of validation and the phone number and address of the lender. They state that they are going to mail it to me. Has anyone heard of these guys, and are they real. I don't remember taking a loan out for $600. They have my old bank so I can't look at records. Please help!!!!


anybody that said those things are shills!this i a scam,and needs to be reported asap.nobody files criminal,and civil actions at the same time.bottomline if you can't recall the loan you didn't take it.report and ignore.

They are scammers. Don’t share any personal information with them. Just file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC immediately.

I found out last night that they contacted my parents and told them that they were going to be supeoned as character witnesses against. Isn't that illegal do give that information over the phone?
