I got a phone call from a Nick Garcia from United States Credit Agency 951-973-7777 said that i have 3 hours to call him back with a payment plan or else they will send out a recomendation for me to go to court over a 300 pay day loan that they wont send me "paper" documentation that I even took out is this legal. What is a recomendation for court or legal procedeings?

It's a scam, this has been happening so often lately. No one is going to arrest you for owing a debt, and further more, any so called legal office that was legit would know better than to call a consumer and make such erroneous threats. They are in violation of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) by making such threats. Ignore them or tell them you aren't being sucked into their crap threats and file a complaint with the FTC asap!

Shazzers, I've noticed a TON of this type of complaint on this forum over the past few weeks; do you think it's because more people are becoming more educated about over-paying on PDLs or what? "helpinminnesota," Shazzers is right, these are scam artists - don't play their game, they're counting on people being so scared that they'll do anything - including sending money! - to get rid of them.
