Like it many people here, I got caught in the payday loan cycle. I had to take out more and more to cover my bills and the charges. I'm in Florida and I hate to say this but I have 10 Payday Loans right now. They are all from the internet:

1. Mycashnow - Borrowed 300/Paid 445.26
2. United Cash - Borrowed 300/Paid $540
3. OneStepCash - Borrowed 300/Paid $540
4. ameriloan - Borrowd 300/Paid $625
5. VC Funding - Borrowed 300/Paid $270
6. ZipCash - Borrowed 300/paid $180
7. American Consumer - Borrowed 300/Paid $360
8. CMG Group - Borrowed 300/Paid $360
9. Eastside Lenders - Borrowed 300/Paid$520
10. BIG LTD - Borrowed 200/Paid $0

Is there anything I can do? I tried to get my bank to stop ACH Debits but they will not. I cannot close my account due to the fact I have other legitimate things taken out each month and my check is direct deposited into it.

Thanks so much for your help.

Jeanelle

as far as FL.. when I was living there, I remember being told , that it is legal , however you can have only 1 payday loan out at a time ( I am assuming storefronts) and you have to pay it off then wait 24hours (cooling period) before you can do another..

as far as the internet pdls....I know what I would do but it is not the right thing. SO--- I will let someone pick up where I left off.......

Topping,
YOu need to send them all ACH revocation letters and wage assignment revocation letters. YOu need to close your bank. Open another account at a different bank and transfer your direct deposit to the new one and have your legitimate bills come out of your new account. The IPDLs will continue to debit your account. Talk to the bank manager. I had to go to corporate before the branch manager would close my account. Most of them you have already paid back more than enough.
