Payday loan

Who are your loans with, list who, how much borrowed and how much paid if can. we know from your post that you live in Illinois, correct?

The companies are:
Great Plains: I believe this is a $400
Discount Advance $600
Cash Taxi $400
Everest $400 ( been paying $250 a month since June2012)
From what I can gather from this site and the site given to see if the companies are licensed, none of those are licensed in Illinois, but can't get a handle on Cash Taxi.

I don't know about all of them - but I know that Great Plains is Tribal and illegal. Follow the link in my signature line how to deal with illegal lenders by OhioGal - you will want to follow step by step...

From what I can tell from their website Discount Advances is out of Canda - not sure of legality.

Cash Taxi - can not even tell from their website where they are located.

Everest - could also not find anything solid on where located.

I am sure someone else here on the forums can help with these 3..

Is it worth sending the revokation letters and just wait till they go to collection to negotiate a payoff? I just need to make it to February, when taxes get here I will be more than happy to pay them a negotiated price, but it seems many people on this forum have a hard time getting these online lenders to actually negotiate ANYTHING. I have written letters already, just waiting to send. I figure that IF I were ever to get sued I have a paper trail starting day one where I tried to settle. In the letters I have stated that I agree to pay them $100 or $50 a month (respectively) until the principle of the loan is paid. I figure any legit company is not going to turn down money when someone tries to pay it. Does any if that make sense? I have been up literally all night and day combing this site, that I really just can't even think straight, my kids deserve Christmas, and payday loans stand in the way of THAT and even putting food on my table

If you have followed the steps and have your bank account secure - I would go ahead and send the letters. I know that from looking around for you the ones that have a email link for contact on their websites you can send the letters of revoke that way. Just cut and paste it in. What all did you put in your letter? If you want to share one here - we can tell you if you are missing anything. I am at work today until this afternoon, so I will see but not be able to respond until then..

Follow HelpinAZ's advise to the tee, just in here to say that in fact ALL of your lenders are illegal. Anything offshore is an illegal loan, including Canada.
