I sent them an email on a loan I have with them and this was there reply, Mind you my loan was for $300.00 and have not made a payment yet. Was doe on 9-28-2007

What happened to the 30 days? They are crazy!

this is the reply I got back, The jerks.

At the time of the first email, your transaction had not returned to us, and we still held your account. However, on October 2nd, your payment returned as a closed account and automatically sold your debt to an outside collections company. We no longer hold your account because of this and you will have to have to settle your account with I Collect. The toll free number to call is 866-856-1024.

Thank you

I'm dealing with these fools myself (AIS that is). I really hope they try to sue me. I'm looking forward to it actually. One question though Bonnie, have you received anything in writing from AIS? I want to send them a debt validation letter, but I've only received the email from the PDL (Arrowhead) so not sure how to respond yet.
Any new updates to your situation?
Good luck, I really hope this works out for you.

I actually got a bill today from AIS Services stating that I owe $115.30. This was for a pdl at CashnetUSA. I have been working with T & C but have not made any payments on my plan for 3 months due to my husband being out of work. We are picking up payments again in May after we get our tax stimulus and my husband gets established with the new job he just started. The weird thing is that it was reported to the credit bureau several months ago before I ever got anything in writing. I also don't think the amounts are correct. Should I still send them a debt validation letter or is it too late for that? Also, I don't think AIS is licensed to collect in AZ. If they are not, then what should I do? I'm going to call T & C and advise them of the letter, as I think they were sending payments to Legal Mediation Practice address, which is the same people. Any advice?
