So, yesterday I sent the VIP Loanshop an ACH Authorization revoke letter...a payment is not due on my account until next week. This morning, I got an email from their collections department...telling me that they would like to work with me to clear up my DELINQUENT account. I have made every payment on time, and the next payment isn't even due yet...how can I be DELINQUENT? LOL. I emailed them and told them that:

My account is not delinquent, I have made every payment due, on time.

Respectfully, Me

And they responded with:

There is a balance of $325 on your account and we received a revoke or ach authorization from you. That makes your account delinquent, and is in collections. I can work with you to get this balance taken care of if you would like.

Let me see.... I have a balance of $325 due, after paying $900...on a PDL that I received $300 on. Nope, don't think I want to make any more payment arrangements, unless they would like to pay ME, the amount that I overpaid THEM in interest.

We spoke to the bank manager and provided them with a copy of the ACH revoke letters...any attempt to withdraw funds from my account will now be treated as fraud...if a transfer does get thru, I have been told to contact the fraud department and they will reverse the charge and refund any fees...I bank with Chase.

Is there something I have missed? Will I need to do something else to make sure no further withdrawals occur? I have two more weeks before I can change my bank account to another bank...I have a government paycheck that is automatically deposited, and want to give them the full period to transfer my deposit.

well as long as the manager has those copies you should be okay.just if you can at least have them open an account not linked to that one,but it sounds like you are on top of things.good job.file the complaints, and respond to VIP email like this.

i not only do not owe 325.00,but after having 900.00 debited on a 300.00 loan i feel you owe me 600.00.any further emails will be forwarded to my AG as part of a complaint against you.i will not make arrangements except to accept the refund you owe me.

something like that.
