I have two online payday loans with 2 different companies or so they act like they are. One is VIP and MyNextDayCash. One has a street address and one has P O box. I live in South Carolina. VIP is very rude and types back to me in all caps. I sent letters today but I couldn't send them a certified letter with return receipt. My only fear is them calling me at work after they can't get to my money. When I emailed VIP for their mailing address she typed back in huge letters "PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENTS BY MAIL" What can I do? I borrowed $150 and have paid way more than that. I know legally I don't have to pay them anymore but I don't want them calling me at work.

There really isn't anything you can do about them calling, however, if and when they do call, don't speak with them at all, hang up immediately. Each and every time they call, hang up immediately, or if you're lucky enough and know it is them calling, don't answer the phone. I realize it will be difficult if they call your employer but you really should let your employer know ahead of time that you may receive harassing phone calls from a payday lender that you borrowed from, but paid back in full! Or, tell them whatever you need to save face, just don't accept any personal phone calls at work for awhile. And if I were you, I would send them the same email over and over and over again, as many as you can, as often as you can, give them a little bit of what they are giving you! Ignore any and all threats they make because they are full of hot air.
