Have you tried asking them for an extended payment plan? If you haven't defaulted on any of your store fronts and they are members of the CFSA you would be eligible for the EPP, this would stop the interest and allow you to pay off these loans in four equal payments.

yeah...thats tough. Can you afford to pay some of them or you can't afford to pay anything? If they are a member of CFSA then you can request an extened payment plan before you default but the problem is that will give you 4 equal bi-weekly payments-could you afford that? Can you afford to maybe pay them down slowly a little each week?
They are not really going to easily go fo an 8 month payment plan I don't think.
The best thing I could suggest is searching by each name in the box on the top right and see what others experiences have been with each company. Some might be more willing to work with you than others.
Paying your mortgage definitely comes first though.

I would claim bankruptcy. I know someone that had five payday loans and he claimed bankruptcy, which was $700. He is a much happier person.I know it ruins your credit, but you probably already have bad credit thats why you had to turn to pay day loans. I have fallen victim also. Currently, I have one payday loan and two installment loans. World finance helped me get rid of 2 payday loans. Their wonderful!
I wouldn't claim BK for pdl's if it's feasible to pay them back
I wouldn't claim BK for pdl's if it's feasible to pay them back under the EPP plan. Click the link below to read about EPP, refer to number 11. And yes, request the EPP BEFORE you default.

Pdl's
I too have several pdl's, all via the internet. My pay day is coming next week and with these loans all due on my payday, I will be way overdrawn and not have any money to pay household bills. How can I remedy this before next week? Can I request a delay in payment? Do you have names of pdl consolidation companies?

Thanks for info -- WA state, I've recently discovered, has approved and signed into law a new payday loan bill (SB 5164). Very good but downside is its not effective till 1/2010; I'm still going to make an attempt for a 180-day extension as the new SB outlines
Good Results with 6 out of 7 PDLs - Checkmate Rude
With 7 PDLs, all willing to work with me in paying off loans outside of agreed contract -- all except CHECKMATE! Rude and inconsiderate of courtesy contact and monthly payment offer of $132.50 to satisfy $700 + $95 fee loan! Accts Service rep or mgr even went as far as threatening lawsuit and accusing me of committing fraud.
Nonetheless - I expected this type of poor service from CHECKMATE from reading other forum articles. I informed acct service rep that payments would be made in hopes of his company's acceptance and w/o being returned.
Never deal with them again!
