A 'wage assignment' is voluntary and usually included in a payday loan contract. All you need to do is send them an email or letter revoking their right to any wage assignments you may have signed, date it, and take a copy to your employer. A wage assignment letter is only as good as the paper it's written on unless you show a copy to your employer!
