Can a payday loan - an illegal one at that really have ur wages garnished? How do u get them to stop calling ur work.
they can not garnish. You need a court order to do that. You mat

To get them to stop calling jst send them a cease and desist letter . Tell them they can no longer call you at home or your place of employment. They can only contact you via e mail or usps.

I agree with the other posting, however you need to check with your payroll department asap. The reason being in some states they do not accept wage assignments or garnishments from payday lenders. I live in NC and the only garnishments that they will accept is Federal and State Taxes, Child Support and Student Loans.
