Can my wages be taken to pay off payday loans

I live in state of Kentucky and I have several payday loans I owe for from Internet pay day loans can my wages be garnished for defaulting on these loans.


KY requires to have the physical presence of the lender within the state if they want to lend. Yes, your wages can be garnished but only with a court order which would be pretty hard, nay impossible for the collectors given the fact that they were lending illegally. What is the name of the lender that you borrowed from? I am just curious.

Here is what I found out, straight from the KY Gov page:
