PDL recovery

Received a call last week from PDL Recovery. I returned the phone call yesterday and was informed that she was calling about a payday loan from 2004 (9 years ago). I told her that I did not remember something from that long ago. She then wanted to know if the Sheriff had been to my door and they dont have to knock they can just kick in the door. Then i was asked if i wanted to make arrangements and I told her that I needed to look into this matter.
We closed the conversation with her telling me that she needed an answer by the end of the day and a debit card # or they would prosecute.
This happen or is this a scam.
