if you are out there in cyber space looking at payday loans....watch out for anything that says "instant approval". They didn't list their name at all on any site.

They got me and I didn't even know it.
The next day I had $250 in my account I did not where it came from, it didn't have a phone number so I couldn't cancel it.
I tried to find it...they had a fake website...no phone number...email address had a 404 error show up.
I didn't get a phone number until they took their first interest payment. Then when I did call it I got a automated response and no answer at the department I needed to talk to.
They took two interest payments plus another week before they sent me an installment plan.

OMG that is when I found out where they were from...NEW ZEALAND of all places. They still have no email address...but they have a skype number and a fax number.
I looked on New Zealand banking website looking for an address...they are not even registered in their own country. So I found two addresses. I played around with email address until I found one that worked.
I sent them the ACH revoke letter by that email and faxed one.
Their response was to resend me a installment plan and try to take their money.

But I was ontop of that and they didn't get any money.

So what do I do with a out of the country payday lender?

Summing everything up, you could have gotten rid of the problem right when it started. The day you detected that extra $250 in your account, you should have gone straight to the bank, spoken with the manager and had the charges reversed right there and then.

Since you did not, the rest of the weirdness followed. New Zealand or not, all offshore lenders are illegal. You need to send a copy of that ACH revocation letter to your bank as well. Really does not matter if them Kiwis never get the notice. Do this one small bit and get on with your life. Stay away from websites flashing oversized dollar bills and instant approval notices.

P.S: You are never going to find that lender in New Zealand simply because they just have a PO Box number there. The people behind this giant lie is actually stateside. The New Zealand address is just a shell company. Vote smart. Stop such predatory lending.

Oh I called the bank as soon as I saw it, but they said, they didn't know what it was and they couldn't help me.

Yea, I have followed the steps, the letters of revokation and all. Still need to file the complaint letters. I closed the account, but my direct deposit didn't switch in time and it forced the account open. I went to the bank, and they put a stop payment on the hydra fund, and reversed it. They said the first stop payment was free---good cause they charge $35 for that. The bank finally did what I asked them after sitting through a lecture about giving out my account number if I had not planned on taking out a loan. But thats better than having deductions from my account every two weeks. Glad to get rid of it.
