Western Sky update

I just received a letter from the State of South Dakota Office of Attorney General dated 11/8/2012 stating that they have forwarded the complaint I filed to Western Sky. Western Sky has 20 days to respond.

Has anyone else filed a complaint with the SD AG and if so what happened? I would like to know if I should expect increased pressure from CashCall or what.

The problem is that the idiots at CC keep claiming that they are the owners of the loan and the problem with WS is that they keep claiming that they are not in possession of the loan they originated. See the infinite loop here? There is neither an up or a down, just round and around.

Stop dealing with these fools, ignore them off the bat. The worst they can do is report to the CRAs and try to ding your credit. If they do that, you can dispute it in writing with the CRAs. At least they are not fools like those monkeys at CashCall.

Since the original loan is illegal you can you can file with the credit reporting agencies and have cashcall removed. State it is an illegal loan. If the agencies refuse file a FTC complaint against them.

Cash Call / western sky keeps calling at least 12 times a day...I never answer. The final call is usually around 8:50pm and with that call they leave a message for me to call them. Thanks for tucking me in at night cash call westernsky, you thieves still wont get another dime from me.

Here is the plain and simple truth to dealing with Cashcall/WS. Stop paying them and wait for the debt to get transferred to Delbert which is their collection company. Delbert will eventually send you a settlement for less than what you owe. For example, if they "say you owe" $5000... usually will get a letter to settle for around $2000. I owed over $5000 supposedly, and settled for about $1900. The thing is, Cash Call IS legal despite what people on this site will try to tell you. They WILL sue you eventually if you do not pay and ignore all attempts. They may not win more than the principle amount borrowed to you, however, usually you can settle with the collection agency for even less than what you would have to pay in court.
