I sent a validation of debt letter to western sky and I received a letter from Cash Call stating that the debt is valid because I signed the agreement. I understand Western Sky is no longer in business and Cash Call just said valid and it was sold to Delbert. I already filled complaints with my AG and the State of Michigan has a cease and desist with the company. So does that mean my debt with WS is valid? I'm a little confused. All they said was they reviews my debt it's valid and I owe $4,000 plus. I already paid the principal plus $1000 extra. What should I do next? Am I legally obligated now?? I'm confused what a debt verification should actually entail.
