Help! I am trying to write my complain to the New York State attorney general regarding vin capital, and I really have no idea what to say. I don't want to sound stupid or like I'm guilty of anything. Does anyone have an example letter they can share? I just want the complain to sound good and I have no idea what to tell them!
Please! Help!!

You do not need to sound smart. Just be to the point. State the name of the lender, state which of the state laws they have violated (lending beyond the set small loan cap, different APR, non licensed, tribal/offshore), how/why you are having trouble dealing with them and any other illegal activities (reporting to CRAs, threatening you, calling you at work) they have subjected you to.

Be simple, no need to go about quoting case laws or paraphrasing sections from the FDCPA. Stick to the point and write it like a complaint letter. That is all there is to it.
