Hi,

I have 4 pdls and all are internet. I live in Wisconsin, and have read the rules. I have talked to DDS and have thought about doing their program. I do have other debt that is also in credit counseling. I have 3000 in pdl's with no way to keep paying their interest. I called each of them and was told i cannot get a payment pan at 2 until they have reached their max rollovers. My credit is not good enough obviously to get a consolidation loan. DDS told me to freeze my account, and to open another, which i have done. Before I commit to them or to anyone else, i guess i would like some suggestions. I can pay it back and understand the debt is mine and legal in wisconsin. I know they cannot arrest me or anything of that nature here, as a check loan is not a worthless check offense. I guess am I better off going with DDS? They are offering me 439 a month to pay for 12 months. I knwo their first payment goes to them... is there a better way? I am not going to pay these people any more of their interest., I know i am responsible, but cannot jeporadize my house or other bills by continuing to pay their interest only and keep going forward... help...

If you are already going to credit counseling, then add these PDL's and have a new proposal sent out. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT waste any money with DDS!!! You have many options available to you in WI that will cost you no fee. Take advantage of them!

BTW, who are your loans with and which ones said that you could not do an EPP until you have reached the max number of roll-overs?

Opps, sorry! I missed the internet. This actually makes it more important to NOT use DDS. Also, unless they have a license, I would not include them in the credit counseling, instead follow the directions outlined in the sticky at the top of the page for dealing with illegal lenders.

Still, please give us who you have loans with, how much was borrowed and how much you have paid each of them to date.
