I need HELP! with massive over pays

I forgot to add, that i also have a pdl with PayCheck Today, for $400 and have paid them $1070.

It looks like in WI pdls have to be licensed in WI. I did a quick check of the WI database and did not see either of yours listed. Have you read the sticky on dealing with illegal lenders? That would be the place to start. The very first post explains what you need to do & has links to sample letters you can send. Although the first thing you need to do is close your bank account and take control back of your monay-then you can work out the next steps. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

No license necessary since the OP searched out the lender.

There was another thread where one of the regulars spoke to the WDFI and it was clarified there. I cannot recall the thread.

I have heard that their DFI is great to work with, if there is any confusion on the poster's part they can contact them :)

paychecktoday actually worked with me and the debt was settled with no more finance fees. all i did was email them and and it got taken care of. i was a little surprised they worked with me but i guess the advice on this site really helped my situation.
