I recently and reluctantly obtained 2 payday loans, but now I realize with my income that I can not afford the finance charges or the pay off with out neglecting my household bills. I was looking at the threads about how to get out of debt with them but I am still confused. I am very apprehensive about finding a payday loan relief company online to use. Also after going over my agreements I found this statement at the end of my loan agreement- Governing Law: Both parties agree that this Note and your account shall be governed by all applicable federal laws and all laws of the jurisdiction in which the Lender is located, regardless of which state you may reside, and by signing below or by your electronic signature, you hereby contractually consent to the exclusive exercise of regulatory and adjudicatory authority by the jurisdiction in which the Lenders is located over all matters related to this Note and your account, forsaking any other jurisdiction which either party may claim by virtue of residency.
What exactly does that mean?
What would be the best way to resolve these debts without them taking all of my money? Should I just close out my checking account and ignore them or is there a way to get out of this situation with out being harassed? My monthly income is only about $800 a month and right now I am paying $180 a month for 1 loan and $120 for another.
