I am a CA resident and I too was fooled by "Advance Me Today" or Lenders International. My original loan was $500. I have paid a total of $650. I would have been ok with that had they not turned around and asked me for an additional $850. So far, I have filed a compliant with the FTC and BBB. I will also contct the PDL with a letter.
