Stop Payments on on line pay day loans

I need to know if defaulting on a payday loan (on line, not store front) is considered the same as writing a bad check...stop payments were placed on the loans, they were not NSF. Thanks!

from what i understand stop payments will not work because all they do is change their names. the best thing to do is open up another account at a different bank all together and DO NOT apply for a loan on ANY website with your new account number.
