Hi,

I'm new here and need help. I have been reding the posts on this forum and following the advice I see others giving. I currently have 9 payday loans- all illegal online loans, I've researched. I have written emails to them telling them I will only pay the principle and revoke all ACH authorizations, etc. I used the letter from this sight as my basis. I closed my bank account so no more money is being taken out. I am willing to pay them the principle if they allow me to. Three of the companies ( Hydra Financial, United Cash Loans, and Ameriloan) I cant even get a hold of. Its like they are ghosts.
My big question is...what happens now. When do I start getting the phone calls? Its only been a few days since I closed the account. They were supposed to debit on friday. Today is Tuesday and I haven't heard anything back yet. I'm not afraid of them, but I am afraid of them contacting my job and my friends. I am a teacher and can not afford to have them call my school. I cant believe I actually gave them the number. At least it is summer now and they cant get me there for the next 2 months anyway. Please help to ease my mind a little as I haven't slept in days. I want to know exactly what I'm up against.:(

Relax and get some sleep. They cannot do anything to you.

I used to spend a lot of time at my kids school. One of the teachers had her check book stolen and calls were coming in like crazy. She gave the secretary the heads up...and the secretary screened her calls. If it was determined it was not a parent, she told them very specifically NOT to call the school and reach the teacher at home. You could tell your school office a similar story...you dont have to tell them it is pay day loans.

Has anybody ever dealt with a PDL from Castle Payday. They are tribal, so I'm sure they are illegal. I've never seen them mentioned anywhere in these forums. I have taken 3 loans from them. First one for $575- pif $776. Next for $200- pif $250. Third one for $1000- have paid back $500 so far but only in interest payments. I haven't heard from them yet. Payment was due Friday, 6 days ago. Bank Account has been closed. If anybody has ever heard of them or done business with them before, please let me know.

OK here is a breakdown of the loans I have out with the amounts I have paid so far. I live in Florida by the way.

1. Castle Payday Borrowed $1000 - have paid $500 so far( plus $1026.25 to pay in full 2 previous loans totalling $775)

2. Plain Green Loans Borrowed $600 - have paid 103.10

3. Cash Call - Borrowed $1000 - paid $0 so far.

4. Red Leaf Lending - Borrowed $500 - paid $150.

5. Sonic Cash - Borrowed $500 - paid $0

6. Zip 19 - borrowed $375 - paid $0 ( Paid previous loan in full $419.94 for a loan of $350)

7. United Cash Loans - borrowed $300 - paid $90.

8. Ameriloan - borrowed $300 - paid $0.

9. Hydra Fund IV - borrowed $300 - paid $90.

10. I also have a loan for $500 from a legal storefront lender which I am paying off.

I realize these loans are all pretty recent. I didnt realize what I was getting into until the damage was already done. I have closed my bank account and sent e-mails to each lender. Some have responded. Some have begun calling. Some companies, such as Ameriloan, United, and HydraFund have just vanished. Cant get into any contact with themm. My access on the website has been cut off, and phone numbers lead to nowhere. Also ZIP 19 has shut me out of the website and say they cannot discuss my account over the phone since it is in collections. Thanks for your help.
