pay day loan

My wife has taken out a number of payday loans in her name through my checking account. Since her name is not on my account what could I do to prevent them from zapping my account every 2 weeks?

Since her name isn't on the account, I don't see why you couldn't block withdrawals from these companies, the problem is, they [the pdl's] most likely won't listen anyhow since they already have your account number. What is the name of these companies? By the way, I am moving this to the payday loan section so it will receive more attention and responses. :)
