I took out couple of loans from Inbox loans and amplify loans. After learning that they are illegal companies, I revoked their ACH authorizations. After talking with other members of this community, I asked the companies to refund me the extra (above my principal) I paid. They are unwilling to do so. Inbox in threatening to contact my work place. Amplify funding has employed a collection agency, 'Zen Resolve'. They are continuously emailing me to set up a payment plan. My question is do I need to bother with them and may be send them a cease and desist letter or just deal with amplify funding directly?
The details of the loans are below:
Inbox loans - principal $975 (Paid $1475$) - saying I still owe $2000
Amplify funding - principal $1000 (Paid $1350) - saying I still owe $1552
