In Missouri, Spotloan (which was previously Zestcash earlier this summer and changed over to Spotloan later this summer) is licensed with the state but they're a tribe. How does that work exactly? I thought you had to be on the tribe and sign anything there for things to be on the up and up. But since they're licensed with a state such as mine, what does that mean exactly? Thanks!

Okay, here is something interesting. I just went back to my states DOR license check-up and I pulled up Zestcash which is out of California. But Zestcash is no more and they informed us back in the summer that they're now Spotloan. Spotloan is in North Dakota and is ran by a tribe. When they were in CA they had no tribe information on the site like Spotloan does. So hypothetically, if they changed names and locations and didn't update with the state, wouldn't that mean that they're illegally operating in the state now since the license is for the old company?

I double checked with the state's site/license to make sure Spotloan wasn't on there and it's not.
