hi guys again!
I went on zip19.com website and the loan is listed under Northway Financial Corp LTD, with the loan "under the laws of Malta" I've read alot of various info about Northway but it was in relation to CTC - So what do you think I should use for an adress? and has anyone had any suscessful ways of proceeding with them?

Here is address of Zip19 for correspondence, etc....

Northway Broker Limited
Level 8 Suite 3,
Plaza Commercial Center,
Bisazza Street,
Sliema
SLM15, Malta

Phone: 1-866-958-3278

This is the address that most of us have used..including me.

What would you like to know about proceeding with them? Do you currently have a loan with them?

The Malta address of Zip19 is a mailbox only. Send all your information to the address listed below. I can't believe it, they are part of the group (sonic, paydayavenue, cashtransfercenters) DO NOT use Zip19.com. If you check the other websites, they are set up the same way and use the same Livechat. They are part of E-Care Contact Centers.

E-Care Contact Centers
400-15225 104th Avenue
Surrey, BC
V3R 6Y8

This is their phone number.
(604) 588-2260

This is the Head Office of Northway Financial. The address in Malta is only a mailing address.

This is the correct address. I have done some investigation on this outfit in the past.

deborah- please read what others have said about them-stay away from pdls and ipdls-you will only sink further into the hole. You can use the search feature at the top of your screen and see what others have been through with pdls like Zip19, not only with them but others..Good Luck..karen :D And if we can help- please let us know

My message sounded strange thought I would retype it. I just applied for a loan with the zip19. now I cant look anything up. Then I found this site which shows all the trouble with that pda. I cant find a way to get a hold of anyone from that site. I cant find a phone number or get back into the site without reapplying. which I wont do. Im afraid about my banking information at this time.

I had recently applied to zip19 and during the process I became suspicious. I called and asked the rep to call me back so I logged the number. I called the BBB in Winnepac and found out the number that they called me from was a cell, the Canada address they also gave me was a fake. Within 24 hours of applying I had 18 different companies pulling money out of my checking account and have had 3 credit cards opened up in my name, etc. I have contacted the Federal Trade Commissions, BBB, Phonebusters, Equifax and the FBI. Everyone please be careful.

Damn! Quote:

18 different companies? That must be some kind of a record.

In your position, I would immediately close the affected bank account and open a new one at a different bank. Read through the PayDay Loan forum on this site for more information on additional steps you can take. On the credit cards being opened in your name... That's identity theft, and it's a criminal matter, not just a financial one. You really need to contact your local or state police about this. You should also read through the Identity Theft forum on the site here, as there is much information there that you would benefit from.

I may be over-reacting on Zip19.com, but... I'd think strongly about closing your account and moving to a different bank. Now. Today, if possible. Not later than Monday morning, in any event.

Here's my reasoning: It's a given that PDLs are a Bad Idea, and a proven fact that many of these companies will cheerfully abuse their access to your bank account, to the tune of hundreds or thousands of dollars if given a chance. If you close that bank account, they cannot usually* withdraw money from it. Moving your business to a different bank, rather than simply opening a new one at your present bank, denies them the opportunity to use your routing information to find your new account. Hopefully, some more experienced members will chime in here after they've had their coffee.

* Talk with your bank branch manager to make certain that your account cannot be forced back open by automated transactions after you've closed it. Also, please read through the PayDay Loan forum here on this site to get more/better information on ways to protect yourself.

Seems to me that if you close the account before Zip19.com can get the 'loan' deposited, that they shouldn't have a leg to stand on later. Again, talk to your branch manager about it, and talk to the more experienced members of the forums here. They're really great folks.

As for feeling stupid, dont. You aren't the first person who's been where you are, and you likely won't be the last, more's the pity. You're actually way ahead of the game here. You've caught on to the trap before you fell completely into it. Should be nuch easier to get out of it at this point than if you'd gotten well and truly snared. Read the PayDay Loan forum, and you'll see what I mean.

You might also consider becoming a registered user of this site. It's free, and it'd give me and others a way to distinguish you from the other 937,451 people who post here as "Guest". It makes things easier for us to keep things straight among multiple active threads.

Best of luck to you!

When I applied for this loan from Zip19.com then it was under nofaxcashtoday.com There seem to be many websites with that name. Everything seemed fine until it gave me the to look up my information that is when my computer wouldnt load up so I shut it down. I havent received any emails or anything else at this time. Im going in to talk with the bank as I have all my banking done automatically. It appears I may not be able to close out my account due to ach action. But I will attempt to do what I can to protect my account. Thanks again. former guest who has now joined. Great website.

I'm not gonna open your link at the moment, as I have some other bandwidth-intensive things running at the moment. I have to go to work in a little bit, anyway. I'll have a look at their site later today. If I find anything to be concerned about from a computer security standpoint, I'll let you know.

So if you close your account on these payday loan people you're saying that they cant/wont legally come after you for their money? I would think there would be som recourse like them trying to attach your paycheck or trying to sue or involve law inforcement.

While I think all internet payday loans are a scam, I have used zip19 and I didn't have a problem. In fact, they were the only payday loan company that didn't have the rollover option...which I now know is illegal in my state.

When they debited the agreed upon amount from my account, it just said "automated debit zip 19 payment"

Tell your bank manager to look at your account and refuse any activity that drafts after the loan has been paid. The banks can and will do it and the bank itself can contact the FBI on fraud. The banks get results when citizens cant.

wow! now it all makes sense to me. I had a loan with zip19 first they told me they would use my debit account to withdraw my funds for the loan but when time came they said we dont use debit so i changed the info to my savings, they said they could use, when the day came loan was to be paid my bank said there was never any attempts for a withdrawal so zip19 charged me for the late charges saying i had insufficient funds! the money was there and they never tried to withdraw then they said we dont use savings acounts either! i should have known. Okay so after this company presents payment to my bank before my payday does and my bank returned their debits. ( they presented two each for half the amount of loan and fees owed, instead of 1 debit) not from my checking account , from my savings , so I didn't authorize checks and definitely not 2 of them , they are now trying to collect 2 nsf fees from me in addition to the loan and fees. I called their customer support and didn't get anywhere. I was told they would mark my account as not paid. I told them to collect what I owe but I didnt feel liable for the nsf fees since they debited before my payday. I have contacted my state attorney generals office and filed a complaint (ohio) from what I am reading on you site it doesn't look like they can legally collect anything . They are not licensed in my state. I just recieved an email from them that they have reported me to teletrack for non-payment of course ruining my credit further. What should I do ? I have not heard anything from attorney general . I also filed a complaint with the FTC.

Genesis financial solutions is picking up Zip19's unpaid loans. It appeared on our credit report and doesn't even list Zip19 as the original creditor. Does anyone know if this is legal?

I dealt with their phone calls for 2 months after i closed my bank account on them for not disclosing fees to me during our contract, but thanks to the advice from a few on this forum to fax a cease and decist letter, the ordeal is over.

I received a letter from them saying they have stopped all phone calls and collection efforts since my fax and offered to settle for the original $300 borrowed in 2 western union payments.Even though it resulted in $26.40 in western union fees it,s still lower than the $117 in fees they tried to charge.

I did get an email next day after 1st payment saying i owed the original balance minus $150,but a phone call to them ,they said just pay the 2nd payment and it,s done. They were very friendly on the phone this time vs extremely rude when i tried to argue the fees.I guess the letter must mean i have to pay original balance with fees to be able to borrow from them again since i read the small print and that,s what it said but i learned my lesson on pdl,s and will never use again!Once again thanks to you on this forum for advice.

Okay....I got a $300 loan from zip19.com on 04/15/09 and they took out the $359.94 on 04/24/09. I know that was just a few days ago......but everything seems to be okay. They didn't over charge me. When I log into the website, it shows that I do NOT owe any more money. So I am confused if I should be worried or not.

josman27510, you don't have to worry. I have been using Zip19 for 6 months now, and they've always been OK. Once your loan is repaid, it's over.

The reason I use zip19 is because they are cheaper than othen PDL's I've found on the internet ... it's like 19% I think.

I am in charge of payroll at my company and I received a phone call and email from ZIP19 asking for employment verification. I instructed them to provide me with a signed release from the employee that I am permitted to release this information. They emailed me a letter, no authorization. So I took it upon myself and called the employee to verify and he said absolutly not, do not give his information. That he NEVER inquired with ZIP19 or anything relevant. So, I called the number listed on the "letter" and not to my suprise duh no authorization....This place is a scam!

You people are idiots. When you sign for a payday loan online you are applying with more then one company unless you apply on a direct site. Read the fine print when you sign online documents. Dont take out payday loans if you dont intend on paying it off. Zip19.com is licensed by the state of Malta and your state laws dont apply. If it is illegal to loan in your state maybe you shouldnt be loaning. simple as that.

Zip19.com does not scam people. read your online loan documents. No interest is charged and the fees are very affordable.

They do their part in giving you the money, do your part and repay it!
