Ohio out of state internet loans are illegal.

I just got a letter from Eastside Lenders, a Deleware co., that they accepted my offer to pay back the principle and two NFS fees. Initially, they tried charging me $705 for defaulting on a $300 loan. I contected the Ohio AG and they sent me there whole file on ESL. The file included complaints and the law that states internet lenders outside of Ohio and not permitted to give Ohioans a loan. I also filed a compalint with the Deleware BBB. So after a month and a half, I won the battle. So in the end I only owed them $35 since I have already by them $315 in fees and extensions. They used the fees and extension payments and applied them toward the settlement amount of $350.
