I have 6 payday loans. I live in PA and have read about the laws in PA on this site. What I want to know is if I can 1. Close my one account to stop transaction on my usfastcash payday loan 2. Are all these payday loan companies legal?

Cashnetusa= 562.50 principal=500 paid so far=225
Cashcentral=500 principal=400 paid=100
paydayone= 560 principal=500 paid=213
paydayok- had since 2006 started at 200 current balance =542.86 paid=1670.58
mycashnow=377 no payment yet
usfastcash=455 principal=350 paid=315

I want to do the right thing and pay them off, but I am in such a bind right now. My usfastcash loan comes out of a seperate checking account. They have my old job on file and they will be deducting another payment of 105.00 this friday. Can I or should I close this account? what can I do about my other loans?

Thank you for any advice,

Sonya

Yes, you can close your bank account. Please read this sticky before you do so.

Cash Net USA is legal and licensed under Nevada.

Cash Central is legal and licensed out of Utah.

Payday One is legal and licensed out of Deleware.

Payday Ok is legal and licensed out of Deleware.

The other 2 are probably not licensed anywhere.

WE CAN HELP YOU! :D

You need to go into the bank in person. Over the phone does not work.

You need to read the whole thread first on closing your account. If you click on the word Sticky in my above post it will take you to the thread. It has some good info you need to know.

When at the bank, stress the words fraudulant and illegal companies (even though they aren't all illegal). Take letters with you showing that you have revoked authorization for them to debit. Explain to them that you are trying to prevent fraud. Print out some threads from here that talk about pdl's debiting people's account without authorization.

If they still say they can't help you, ask them what they do when they find out there is fraud on someone's account. They freeze it! Make them understand this is what is going on here.
