I've been using E-funds transfers, from my checking account, to pay my monthly credit card payments. If I default on an account, would the credit card company try to collect by using my E-fund tranfer information?
Have any of you had this problem?

I am not sure on this. But I think before a payment is done, the credit card company gets your authorization for the account from which the money will be paid. If you have authorized them to take the money from your checking account only, no other personal information is to be used for carrying on the payment. I think you have everything documented with the company in case there is a dispute later.
