I got an e-mail from Cash Today Limited...what to do?

I received a letter from Cash Today Limited (the e-mail that it came from was investigations(at)cash2day4u.com)
The subject line read: URGENT MESSAGE FROM CASHTODAY LTD– INVESTIGATIONS TEAM
Body of the e-mail:

Now, after reading this e-mail, I don't want them to call my employer and all the references I had when I applied for this loan. I'm not sure what I should do as the next step after receiving this e-mail. If someone can please give me advice on how to respond to this e-mail and if I should be writing a letter of debt validation to them? Any advice is welcome.

I did not recieve any information like this before I entered into any type of agreement. But I can tell you this, their website does not contain any of this information either.

Thanks Polly for the great response. I guess they have tried calling me everyday with some wacko phone number that was 13 digits long but I never answered those calls. This is the first e-mail I got from these folks so I responded back to them with your response on this post.
JJ, how do I contact my legal counsel if it does ever get that far? I'm not sure what Attorney Generals/Legal Counselors/etc. do and how to contact them...:)
